Hi! I'm Lily, the heart and hands behind Love, Lily Studios! I'm an artist and designer with a passion for color, pattern, and all things whimsical. Through illustration, painting, and graphic design, I create artwork inspired by the beauty and magic found in nature and everyday life.

I graduated from NC State University and worked as a teacher and an entomologist before pursuing art full-time. Both heavily inspire my work today. As a teacher, the creativity and imagination of my students left a lasting impression on me. They reminded me that art doesn't have to be serious to be meaningful, and I try to bring that same sense of curiosity, playfulness, and wonder into everything I create! As for entomology, my fascination with insects never faded, and they continue to be one of my biggest sources of creative inspiration! I love to make the tiny creatures frequently overlooked by others the stars of my artwork!

When I'm not drawing bugs, you'll usually find me illustrating pets, designing stationery, or dreaming up new collections inspired by nature and all the wonderfully whimsical things that make life a little brighter.

My hope is that my artwork brings you joy and helps you slow down and notice the beauty in the tiny things, especially the ones with six legs!
